Custom Marine Patches for Units, Reunions and Marine Families

Marines take pride in their units, their history and the people they served beside. We create custom patches for unit morale, deployment commemoratives, Marine Corps birthday ball keepsakes, family support groups and veteran detachments — built tough enough for the field.

Marine customers often order unit morale patches, deployment and float patches, recruit platoon graduation keepsakes, birthday ball patches and patches for Marine veteran detachments and reunion associations.

Because the Marine Corps tightly controls what is worn on its uniforms, most custom patches are used on packs, range bags, jackets, plaques and shadow boxes. Always confirm with your command before planning a patch for uniform wear.

Bold, aggressive design styles — mascots, weapons silhouettes and unit mottos — translate well into PVC and embroidered patches. Subdued coyote and olive tones suit field gear, while full-color designs make great keepsakes.

Recommended sizes & shapes

Morale patches are typically 2 × 3 or 3 × 3 inches with hook backing. Commemorative patches for shadow boxes and plaques are commonly 4–5 inches. Shield and rectangular shapes are the most popular.

Durability

PVC patches shrug off mud, sand and water. Embroidered patches with merrowed edges and sewn hook backing stand up to years of use on packs and gear.

Design considerations

The Eagle, Globe and Anchor and other Marine Corps marks are protected trademarks; use them only with proper authorization. A simplified unit mascot plus a short motto usually reads better than a dense composition.

FAQ

Marine Patches FAQs

Can you use the Eagle, Globe and Anchor on a patch?

The Marine Corps emblem is a protected mark. We can only reproduce it for customers who have the necessary authorization. Original unit mascots and mottos are a great alternative.

Which is better for field gear, PVC or embroidered?

Both work well. PVC is waterproof and easy to clean; embroidery offers classic texture. Many units order a PVC version for gear and an embroidered one as a keepsake.

Can you make patches for a Marine family support group?

Yes. We regularly produce patches for family groups and booster organizations for fundraising and events.
